Russian filmmaker
Vasily Glebov was born in the Javakhetia Doukhobor community in southern
Georgia. In 2005-2006 he made a film about this community, dedicated to his
mother and all true Doukhobors. The following is the full-length 33.28
minute version of this film in which he laments the dissolution of the
Javakheti Doukhobor community: sold, betrayed and squandered. Produced in
St. Petersburg, Russia. Directed by Konstantin Anferov. Song composed by
Larissa Kunnakulova. Never before released in its entirety - this film is a Doukhobor Genealogy Website
