Voykin Subdivision
In 1979, Voykin Bros. Contracting Limited, owned by brothers Alex (1938-) and Jack W. Voykin (1933-2005) purchased, subdivided and developed a parcel of land in the southern section of South Slocan, British Columbia. The 43 lot subdivision was named Voykin Subdivision after the developers. Today it is a bourgeoning residential area (2006 pop. 137).
