Danshin Village Road
Named after Danshin Village which stood at the top of this road. Built in 1909-1910, Danshin Village was one of many Doukhobor communal villages that once dotted the Grand Forks landscape. It was named after the Danshin family who resided there. Following the demise of the CCUB, the village was disbanded and sold in 1961-1963. An original two-story brick communal home still remains on site. [49° 1' 37.72", -118° 32' 18.54"]
