Vishloff Street
Named after John J. Vishloff (1918-2009), an early resident. Vishloff originally lived in Lundbreck and later Nanton, AB where he worked as a farm labourer and steam-engine operator. In 1947, he and his family resettled to Mission, BC where he worked in construction and built several homes. In 1961, his name was applied to the subdivisional street adjoining the land he owned and lived on. [49° 10' 9.05", -122° 19' 12.22"]
