Efremovka
In 1899, Doukhobors established the village of Efremovka (Ефремовка) on Kamsack Creek in the present Kamsack district of Saskatchewan. It was named after the village of Efremovka in Cyprus from whence they came. It was also known as Efremovo (Ефремово). In 1905, due to flooding, the village was relocated to a new site three miles south along Dead Horse Creek. By 1917 it was abandoned as villagers relocated to individual homesteads or to British Columbia. (1905 pop. 75) [NW6-29-32-W1]
