Outlook Road
Named for Outlook School which once stood along this road. Built in 1917 to serve the Doukhobors of the Khristovoye settlement area west of Grand Forks, BC, the school was so named because of its wide, panoramic view of the surrounding mountain valley. The school was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1923 and again in 1931. It was finally closed in 1949. [49° 2' 23.64", -118° 29' 11.08"]
