The Doukhobor Gazetteer - Search Details
Bolshaya Gorelovka
In 1902, Doukhobors established the village of Bolshaya Gorelovka (Болшая Гореловка) in the present Blaine Lake district of Saskatchewan. It was an offshoot of the nearby village of Gorelovka and the name means “Large Gorelovka”. It was abandoned in 1920 as villagers relocated to individual homesteads. (1905 pop. 168) [SW35-44-8-W3]
