Arishenkoff Village
In 1928, Community Doukhobors in the Kylemore district of Saskatchewan formed a new offshoot village along Fishing Lake. It was known as Arishenkoff Village or Arishchenkovo Selo (Арищенково Село) in Russian after the Arishenkoff family of Doukhobors who lived there. It had a barn large enough to house 100 head of horses. Doukhobors gathered on the nearby lakeshore to celebrate festivals and hold prayer meetings. It existed until the demise of the CCUB in 1937-1938, whereafter it was disbanded. Today it is the site of the Fishing Lake Bible Camp. [SE35-33-12-W2] [51.86780° N - 103.59794° W]
