Ivanovka
In 1921-1923, Doukhobors from Kars, Turkey established the village of Ivanovka (Ивановка) in the Tselina district of Rostov province, Russia. The village name is derived from the Russian men’s name Ivan and probably commemorates an early Doukhobor settler or leader. The Kolkhoz Put' Lenina ("Lenin's Way Collective Farm") was formed there in the 1930s, replaced by the Kolkhoz Imeni 22-go Parts'ezda ("22nd Party Congress Collective Farm") in the 1960s. Today, the population is mixed Doukhobor and Orthodox Russian. [46° 39' 35" N - 40° 54' 55" E]
