Veseloye
In 1921-1923, Doukhobors from Georgia established the village of Veseloye (Веселое) in the Tselina district of Rostov province, Russia. The name means “merry” or “cheerful” in Russian. It was also known as Veselovka (Веселовка). The Kolkhoz Imeni Chapaeva ("Chapaev Collective Farm") was formed there in the 1930s. In the 1950s, it merged into the nearby village of Petrovka.
