Tomilin Village
In 1908-1909, Community Doukhobors from Saskatchewan established a village near Cai Creek in the Ootischenia district of British Columbia. It was known as Tomilin Village or Tomilino Selo (Томилино Село) in Russian after the Tomilin family of Doukhobors who lived there. By 1961-1963, the CCUB lands were sold and the village was disbanded. [Sublot 15 of District Lot 4598, Kootenay District]
