Efremovka
In 1912, Community Doukhobors established the village of Efremovka (Ефремовка) on the Kootenay River in the Glade (Plodorodnoye) district of British Columbia. It was named after the village of Efremovka in Saskatchewan from whence they came. By 1961-1963, the CCUB lands were sold and the village was disbanded. [Block A, Sublot 8 of District Lot 1239, Kootenay District]
