Norsan
In 1937-1943, thirty Community Doukhobor families from Saskatchewan settled along the Kettle River in the Nursery district of British Columbia. Several Independent Doukhobor families joined them. They named the area Norsan (Норсан), a Russianization of the English place name Nursery. It had a small prayer home. The name eventually fell into disuse.
